One month in Íllora - Second part: Intercambios Juveniles: The fact

Creativity: From idea to innovation

The fantastic team of the first youth exchange leaved on the 12th of the morning, and on the 13th afternoon the group from Bulgaria, Hungary and Portugal came.

Unfortunately, losing my phone means that all the voice messages I have taken about daily happenings are lost. Well, I'm trying to recall the events of the second week in the school. :D

This youth exchange was special in many ways. On the one hand, it was organized with Bulgarian, Portuguese and Hungarian groups. On the other hand, the main theme we worked on this week was creativity. It sounded very exciting right from the start. Last but not least, to my great pleasure, my friend Szandi also participated as a member of the Hungarian team at this great meeting.
I'm not saying I was not worried about how will be to meet someone who coming from home after a couple of months here. There was a lot of joy, of course, but I think we found the balance between talking to each other and participate actively in the program. Otherwise we talked to each other in English. (Thanks mainly to the bora-bora rule and of course we wanted to practice it too.)

In the beginning I decided and wrote it dawn on my 0-10 score that if we haven't get task I would like to be active during the sessions :)

On the 17th we went to Mollina to the Mid-term Evaluation with Didi, so we went to Granada on Monday morning and in the afternoon we went to the small paradise near Málaga.

Here is the picture report: 💃 💛 💪 😄 📎 🎶

3.nap: Creativity day with Karolina

After two very intense days, finally creativity didn't  mean the word for me that before... When I heard: be creative I always said that I'm not creative, or that creativity is something I'm afraid of because I have no fanciful ideas. If we believe that we can be creative, we will be, and ideas will turn to innovation ... We can improve ourself of course. We had a grate time together. Every thought and idea was important. It was not a good or bad solution. And it was very nice to see that during the days how people became more open and taking part. Even with language barriers. People are beginning to feel safe because they can share their opinions, thoughts, ideas. This will help people leave their comfort zone in a friendly environment.

What is creativity?

Ice-cream game
Three colors - three new ice cream flavors - ice cream name - presentation
Known things have been placed in a new role :)
Maybe ours was like this:
Red - Fire Taste - Fire Heat
Purple - Rainbow Taste - The Unicorn
Brown - Mars Taste - Mars

Tower construction with specific tools, time frame and criterions

For example, our team has not discovered that there is a paper that has one half of it sticky, so we have solved the situation differently. And at the last minute we had to make a quick decision to keep our tower stable in the glass whitout water. A moment, time pressuredifferent point of view,  and no more the building collapsed ...

Creative CV
Important events of our life on a giant sheet. We shared the most memorable moments in pairs. With questions and observations we could see a different perspective, also.

My creatice CV

Interesting but really hard part of the creativity tasks

The task has taught us, among other things, to work together. If your are faster than the others, it is sometimes necessary to stop and ask if all the members of the team can understand. And if we are of those who need a little more time to understand things, do not be ashamed to say and ask, take time to explain, understand. Attention and communication are crucial.

Joy, fun, energizers and eating together:

Some minutes yoga :D

This week we were also divided into groups to prepare for each meal and then do the washing-up
A part of everyday activities

Siesta time: Preparing for theHungarian evening

Ooh, boys...We can not take a picture whitout them

Daily day evaluations, opinions couldn't miss:

So I felt like this: Somewhere to the top of the tree, tired: D
What if I am thinking I was not that tired, compared to what I felt in the last days of July: D

Hungarian evening: Presentation, foods from home, music, dance
Of course you always find out that there is things you can learn about your country and there is a lot of wonderful place to visit in the future :)

How knows the answer? :D

Dance from Somogy county: 'Somogyi ugrós'

4. day: Don't stop

Considering the previous day's ideas and suggestions, this day was mostly spent on free air.

In small teams we started to discover the city and find work opportunities that might appear in the town hall 50 years later. We needed to discover the city by touching. The other two teams talked about how they felt the small town by  hearing and seeing.

Back
We shared our ideas

We have analyzed two creative curriculum vitae in small teams, and then shared our observations. What can be useful for us...

Two cultures meeting
I think it will be better to link video.
There are two different cultures and a team of journalists.

Go abroad or stay home?
We chose to stay at home if I remember well and analysed the question with the 'Six Thinking Hats' method

Youthpass

Bulgaria's Evening: Cheese from Bulgaria, chubrica, dance, music
For sure my next trip will be in Bulgaria

One of my favorite girl from Portugal
Language barriers could be overcome. We do not always need words to express love, understanding, and pay attention. Our body language often says more than we think.... :)

5. day:

For us with Didi this was the last day, or actually morning that we spent with the team, because we we went to Mollina on Monday afternoon. That morning we went to Granada together. The team was did smaller tasks during sightseeing and then back to Íllora in the evening. Looking at the pictures and videos, listening to experiences, there were a really nice finish of the second youth exchange also.

I was glad that Szandra cam for this exchange and seemed to feel good, experienced, and developed. Not to mention how good it was to talk a bit. I hope we can motivate others with our example and more and more people will be participating in similar programs. 🎉
